Summer Arts Guide
Explore arts in Austin this summer!
To connect youth and families with accessible summer arts experiences, MINDPOP created Austin’s 2026 Summer Arts Guide. The Guide features free and paid opportunities for youth and their families to attend plays, see live music, visit museums, and participate in arts-based summer camps, all from the Creative Learning Initiative’s community arts partners.
Extend the arts into the school year!
When summer is over, learn about how these unique programs can help enrich the arts at your school year-round, through fieldtrips, residencies, assemblies, or afterschool programming. Visit MINDPOP’s Matchmaker for more information.

Creative Learning at Home
You can use research-based, Creative Learning strategies with your kids to have fun and build connections with each other. These arts-based activities are easy to learn and require little preparation.
The simplified, at-home activities are adapted from rigorous Creative Teaching techniques, which Austin ISD teachers use every day to help students understand new information, to remember it for longer and to activate deep thinking skills.
The arts are a powerful tool in school-and at home! Speak with your child's teacher to find out how they use Creative Teaching.
Versions available in English, Spanish, Chinese, and Vietnamese.
