Day of Dance 2025
That’s a wrap on the second annual Day of Dance!
We sold out our 800 free tickets; had 32 performance groups with over 150 performers share their artistry on stage; and offered 22 classes for dancers of all ages to explore dance styles from across the globe. This year we piloted a flashmob that had over 100 dancers join! The cypher activation with Danzversity and a DJ dance party with Daniel Fears wrapped up the excitement of the day.
We had more than 160 volunteers helping to make this community festival the best yet. We can’t wait to do it all again next year!

Day of Dance 2024 was a full day celebration highlighting dance in Austin TX. This was a city-wide collaboration among MINDPOP, Austin ISD, the City of Austin and arts partners to provide a free, family-friendly event! There were over 26 dance class and 3 different performance showcases featuring 26 professional and youth companies.
