PROGRAM ASSOCIATE FOR EDUCATION: JOB DESCRIPTION
MINDPOP seeks a capable and creative individual to provide direct support for the Education Director implementing programs and activities that increase student achievement and access to the arts and creative learning in Austin.
About Us:
MINDPOP is a non-profit organization that designs and builds creative learning systems nationwide. As the managing partner of Austin’s Creative Learning Initiative, we are responsible for the design and coordination of this collective impact effort with lead partners Austin ISD, the City of Austin and implementation partners from more than 200+ arts organizations. MINDPOP offers consulting services nationally to communities interested in expanding creative learning system models in their own community.

Summary:
The Program Associate for Education will be responsible for working with the Education Director to develop, edit, maintain, and facilitate curriculum modules, manage Creative Learning Initiative materials and events, including support with event and professional development logistics. Ideal candidates will have practical and theoretical knowledge of teaching and learning; strong educational writing and editing skills (both written and video); strong project management skills; experience teaching across multiple subject areas and grade bands; commitment and experience advancing equity, diversity, inclusion and belonging, and a background in the arts.
